Tips for your visit to the Farm
- It can get very warm, although water is available, you may bring a water bottle
- Sunscreen and hats are recommended
- We recommend that there are enough chaperones to accompany groups of 6 to 8 kids
- Wear closed-toed shoes
- To carry young children, we recommend backpacks or wagons and strollers with large wheels
- This is a working farm and you will see farm equipment here and there. We ask you to please do not climb on any farm equipment or fences. You will want to be cautious around any machinery, and stay back from moving wagons and tractors.
- Please bring water or money for water, we are a seasonal operation and do not have water fountains
Wheelchair accessibility:
We have had many wheelchairs go through our Mazes, but you have to remember it is a field of sand/dirt. The paths in the corn maze are certainly wide enough to allow wheelchairs through, but the ground is not always level and packed down everywhere. Pushing the wheelchair will not always be easy. Motorized wheelchairs are very heavy and can get easily stuck in the sandy areas. We do have a bridge in the center of our Corn Mazes and unless your group is willing to carry you and your chair over the bridge, wheelchairs will have to back track and find other paths to get through the Mazes. There is a coded map on the back of the game sheet and with the $1 pair of glasses you can follow the paths through the Corn Mazes and bypass the bridges. Just ask us to point out where the bridge is located.
