Harvest seasons

There are two seasons for Scott’s Zellwood Triple-Sweet Gourmet Corn™ – the end of April through May in the spring and in the fall from mid-September through November.  Likewise, Great
Scott Kirbys are harvested from mid-April through May and then again from mid-September through November.  Cabbage, our winter crop, is harvested from mid-December through mid-April.  Of course, all of our crops depend on weather conditions. Long & Scott also maintains a smaller garden where we grow a variety of fruits and vegetables for Scott’s Market and our wholesale customers.  These crops are available depending on their particular season from mid-September through June. Please send an e-mail to bill@longandscottfarms.com to receive a list of current availabilities or phone Scott’s Country Market for more information at 352-383-1792.

Sod Sales

Long & Scott also grows approximately 100 acres of sod, which is sold through Lake Jem farms.  You may reach Lake Jem at 352-383-7196 or by clicking here for more information.
